Two I thought - I took two cds and asked for the first track of each, both of which turned out to be 10-second pointless intros to the actual tracks that I wanted to be played

The ones i‘ve made up are everyone gets one tune. If over half the crowd like the tune you get a second but then that’s it for that PROD. Judging how many people like the first tune might be difficult though however getting people screaming for tunes is good right?

That's how I remember it. You bring three, and dubversion chooses the one he likes best. No format restrictions or "singles only" IIRC.
