Apparently this was 1998

I feel this one is likeable. The lyrics are mostly non-words plus something about a telephone. Well I don't bloody know!



This one is more niche but it's one of the best things I've done IMO.

Not happy with all sorts regarding that but I do think I can say I have found my own sound. Which is lucky because I don't have the patience to sound like anybody else.

Tuned it to a chord that's deliciously sour. There's like two thinks it wants to do now. Let it do that and that.

Edit: This has proved quite popular on tiktok. Which is erm... surprising.

Did half a dozen versions of this last night and each one of them had some bum moments, which are not really acceptable in a pretty piece like this. Having said that there's still a bit of deliberate messiness in it - can't do without that. If you care it's tuned to open G with an E on the bass, the idea being that the guitar isn't sure whether it's in G or Emin.

Had a little session Wednesday evening and recorded about 10 minutes of passable random sounds in 8 lumps. OK the first lump was a bit naff. 7 passable lumps. This is my favourite lump.
