Post random pics of your CD/vinyl/cassette collection

It was never going to live up to the gorgeous Marc Bolan...The Power Station, Get It On; I've just checked that out. It fails, for many reasons and is not to be recommended.

Please excuse the mess.

There are a load of 78s there which I inherited from my Dad. He inherited them from his Dad, who ran a record shop in town.

At some point I keep promising myself I'm going to buy a gramophone so I can give them all a listen, and catalogue them.

That would also provide a genuine opportunity to exclaim "Put A Sock In It!".

I see you're still working your way through the stock of pandemic panic buy loo roll ;)

I've been tempted by a few 78s recently. There are a couple of R&B tunes I'd like that are much easier to find and cheaper on 78 than 45. My decks will play them with a change of cart and some adjustment

I love how those speaker stands are not in use
There's a long story, just out of shot are a pair of Kef LS50s that go with them.

I'm contemplating converting the living room from 2.1 to 5.1 and using them as the rears.

I was wondering if I spotted some there.
Just to the left of the buff and shine box.
Looked too short for cassettes.
Ah, yes, I see. Something else for my to do list. They're video tapes from a camcorder which are waiting to be converted.
