Police shoot man in 'intelligence-led operation' in London

I haven't heard any news for a few hours, as I'm supposed to be working, was a gun found in the hedge, then?

This is going to get confusing...

Although reports are saying that a firearm has been found at the scene of the shooting today.

Going to bust your mates out of custody.... 10/10 for solidarity actions.

yeh. you'd leave one too, to satisfy the publick

You'd also take one to bust someone out of court.

If the police are awash with illegal and unaccounted for firearms to plant on people they shoot without one, why is it so rare to happen? The Duggan case is the only one I can think of where it's in dispute. And dispute is the correct term, it's far from established either way.

The lies are so dense there that a degree of conjecture is inevitable.

It may have just been a magical teleporting gun from the future.

how do you know they were going to bust someone out of court?

I don't 'know', I'm going on what's been reported so far. It may well be disputed it the coming weeks/months, but it seems plausible. (Court or on the journey to/from court.)

It's plausible. Not sure I'd say it's sensible but then have you seen some of the fucking idiot/brave things people try?

Looks like they're saying the plan was to hit the vehicle on the way to/from court.

much more likely. but what have we learned about the first thing the cops say about a shooting?

The court vaulted the barrier and had wires hanging from its thick coat, a thick coat at this time of year no less. And it transpires the court was not supposed to be in the UK anyway, plus it had traces of coke in its bloodstream.
