Poland - What to chomp (and anything else)

Thank you so much for your help! That fits with the vague plan (Krakow-> Warsaw -> Gdansk) .. hopefully it's not too snow filled in Zakopane :D

Might sack off a day or two in Gdansk and spend a bit more time down south.
Gdansk/Sopot is more a summer town as its by the sea...Sopot is where a lot of Poles go for their summer holidays.
the old town is pretty but ultimately not a huge amount to do...but eat and drink ;)

Odds of full on snow in Zakopane in February very high. Zakopane translates as 'buried in', as in snowed under. The whole of Poland could be very snowy in February...so good boots hat and gloves a must anyway

Avoid eggs, when I went there was a 40% incidence of Salmonella, and they don't scan eggs.

I had three eggs for dinner on the first night, no-one had warned me.

Did you get Salmonella?
Yes..... very much so.

2 days in the hotel room whilst my girlfreind and dad were out sightseeing...... dragged myself out for the last day because I really wanted to see the salt mines.
