Place-name meals

Could have gone in What's for tea, but Mrs B thought this might deserve it's own thread.

So, call us metropolitan dandies, but last night we had Spaghetti Bolognese and tonight, being a bit warmer in GL, salade Niçoise. Both nice, but got us thinking over dinner...with the notable exception of Lancashire hotpot, why are there so few full UK meals that proudly display their origins with a place-name in their title?

I told Mrs B that the Urban hive-mind would soon prove that that there were many examples that we couldn't think of.
