I only recently realised that here I am actually contemplating living in France and I'd left impressionist art, Ravel and Debussy behind decades ago - probably time to remedy all that ...
This is why impressionism is my favourite period of art. Its amazing how these brush strokes create the final image.They had a Monet at Dulwich Picture Gallery last year. I took some close-ups.
