I really miss Robins !

I'm feeling like I want to take more moving & close up photos, so maybe I do need a camera. I'm getting better at framing properly in the first place so I dont need to edit the position. I really enjoy editing the actual colours & lighting etc though

Finally got round to dragging the camera up a mountain and it's got dirt on the lens. Cropped the marks out on a few.

Northern Lights, Iceland, from a fairly spectacular showing (and my first ever viewing of them) that lasted a good three hours before encroaching hypothermia put an end to the evening:






Quite easy to imagine - once you've witnessed them materialise out of nowhere and dancing around - why the locals thought they might be the souls of the dead ascending to Valhalla.
