Pint mug of tea in Pete's Eats after coming down off a rainy day on the hill.

I have a distinct memory of eating chips and beans and having a pint of tea there when I was a kid about 30 years ago!

Yeah, tea bag and milk MUST NEVER, EVER MEET. I don't understand why people persist with putting milk in before teabag. It's so fucking wrong, stirring the teabag around in a cooled milk / water mix

Teabag, water, mash, but then I'm not fussed if the milk goes in before or after the bags took out. As long as it ends up like the colour of american tan tights (as my ex informed me ) 2 sugars or 3 if it's in my big hangover mug and (controversial probably) soya milk

I also encountered one establishment in London where I found that Earl Grey was the 'default option' for tea and only found this out after I got it.

I really can't drink Earl Grey at all. I remember being in the awful situation of meeting my ex's mum for the first time and being given earl Grey without asking and having to politely swallow every single soapy poisonous tasting mouthful. Shouldn't have bothered, she turned out to be a horrible old witch and I haven't spoken to her for three years come November.

Yorkshire tea bags or quick brew mashed within a yard of its life, if the cups not already getting tantin stain its still to weak.

PG pyramid teabag and 3 sugars in a large mug. Pour on boiling water. Stir. Leave for 1 min. Stir again, use teaspoon to squeeze teabag out on side of mug and remove. Add splash of full fat milk. Enjoy.

This thread is about TEA not any of that fruit infusion / herbal / whatever. That shit ain't tea.
