Yep, checking the info I was given, I think I got my wires slightly crossed, this is actually more stuff related to the Rochdale by-election, and so that thread's probably the most suitable one for it. NHP are going to be supporting an independent "anti-grooming" candidate in Rochdale - dunno what his chances are, but certainly seems like Rochdale council and Rochdale Borough Housing have given people enough reasons to be pissed off? To be continued (on the Rochdale thread, when I get around to it, I should really be going out now.)

Point taken about his success in attracting local support, the demo he was with was not the most impressive gathering I've ever seen. (Suppose you could even say there were... about five guys there?)
One pretty memorable moment when the massive Palestine demo came down the road and it went from being this prick and about ten of his mates vs a few dozen opposition, to there suddenly being hundreds of people shouting at them.

If you can't trust 'Oldham's most prolific burglar' to give you impartial (if FCA-unregulated) tenant dispute advice, then who can you turn to?

It's a unique qualification I suppose, you want someone who can speak from experience, and there can't be many people who've seen the inside of as many homes as Dunkerley has.

It's a unique qualification I suppose, you want someone who can speak from experience, and there can't be many people who've seen the inside of as many homes as Dunkerley has.

Out in the early hours with his mate , at the time, Jim and a couple of others. in Piccadilly Gardens. Rumour has it that they went to buy some drugs , got into an altercation with these kids.
Three youths were arrested but there were no further details about the case and Lawrence removed a video on YouTube where he was talking about it. I knew a reporter at the MEN at the time and she couldn't find anything from the courts.

He also used to hang around with a pair Kim Jones and Tom English both gobshites. The latter got headbutted by someone I knew after he harassed somebody from SUTR in the Town Centre .

One person who is unlikely to be bothering you for a while is Sam Melia of Pudsey, who stood as a candidate for the far-right For Britain party in the 2018 local elections, after previously marching with the neo-Nazi National Action in Darlington in November 2016. Later proscribed as a terrorist organisation and linked to numerous acts of violence, National Action caused outrage in Darlington by delivering a hate-filled speeches about “driving out the parasite class” of “hook-nosed bankers” while black-clad group members threw up Nazi salutes.

Most recently Sam Melia has been associated in a senior capacity with Patriotic Alternative, being Regional Organiser of their Yorkshire branch, husband to Deputy Leader Laura Towler and amongst its most regular public speakers and broadcasters.

Earlier today at Leeds Crown Court, Sam Melia was found guilty of publishing material designed to stir up racial hatred by running an online library of downloadable anti-immigration stickers, and of encouraging racially aggravated criminal damage.

Sam Melia was bailed until his sentencing hearing on 1 March 2024:
