Patriotic Alternative leafletting my home town. Help me out, radicals.

PA now planning for a demo on St George’s day in the Long Eaton/Sandiacre area on the Notts Derbyshire border. See antifascist mobilisations 2023 thread on this forum. Hopefully they can again be successfully countered.

Looks like they want another bite at the cherry

How the fuck do you stab someone twice and only get two years? When I was a vandal, my comrade in cans got 5 years for tagging trains? They wanted me to go down for 4 years but the judge accepted my guilty plea deal. So I could've knifed a fash twice and got less. Mental.

I suspect reading between the lines that the two guys he stabbed (or more likely slashed) were less than innocent in the altercation rather than he set upon a complete stranger but yes he did get off lightly.
I try not to judge people based on their appearance but seriously the photo in the article does him no favours he looks he ought to be jailed on the basis of that photo alone. It positively shouts "Wrong Un"

It’s best to listen/read the judges summing up at sentencing, all the mitigations etc get explained

One person who is unlikely to be bothering you for a while is Sam Melia of Pudsey, who stood as a candidate for the far-right For Britain party in the 2018 local elections, after previously marching with the neo-Nazi National Action in Darlington in November 2016. Later proscribed as a terrorist organisation and linked to numerous acts of violence, National Action caused outrage in Darlington by delivering a hate-filled speeches about “driving out the parasite class” of “hook-nosed bankers” while black-clad group members threw up Nazi salutes.

Most recently Sam Melia has been associated in a senior capacity with Patriotic Alternative, being Regional Organiser of their Yorkshire branch, husband to Deputy Leader Laura Towler and amongst its most regular public speakers and broadcasters.

Earlier today at Leeds Crown Court, Sam Melia was found guilty of publishing material designed to stir up racial hatred by running an online library of downloadable anti-immigration stickers, and of encouraging racially aggravated criminal damage.

Sam Melia was bailed until his sentencing hearing on 1 March 2024:

UK man with Hitler picture in home used sticker campaign to stir racial hatred, court told

Far-right organiser found guilty of spreading racial hatred

Ah, that's intreresting - Melia accused of being the man behind Hundred-Handers, which at the very least inspired and may have been directly linked to that shitty "White Rose" stuff that was everywhere during lockdown.

I thought the name was a coincidence borne of ignorance, but perhaps not then.

Yeah. I mean, it's speculation and hard to prove anything either way, but the MO's pretty much identical. And that article does also mention "The stickers also contained a wealth of anti-BBC, anti-lockdown and anti-mask messages relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, including: “Live in fear, it makes you easier to control.”" So one to keep an eye on and see if more comes out, I suppose?

Was meaning to find a thread to ask about this, and here'll do - anyone heard anything about the "National Housing Party"? Think they're meant to have been a bit active in places like Oldham, the list of slogans on their Electoral Commission registration kind of tells the story:

Oh, and I absolutely promise I'm not AA returning under a new name, but on searching for them (and trying to find stuff that's not just their own to link to), just found this Martin Wright video:

Hope Not Hate says that the registered leader of the Housing Party is ex-Britain First
