Osama bin Laden killed by US forces in Pakistan

What they did with the Nazis executed at Nuremburg was

1. to have them cremated,

2. then after that drive around the German countryside at night

3. then find some random secluded spot with a drain.

4. Then pour the ashes down that.

To be fair, I think it's worth considering the same fate for Thatcher. Better than Westiminster Abbey reeking of piss all the time and putting off the tourists.

Not making any claims that one or other is more guilty, just commenting on the practicality of an unmarked grave for someone whose final resting place is a natural trouble-magnet.

Bin Laden knew the score anyway,he was never going to be collecting his pension and watching Last of the Summer Wine in his old age

I'm not sure that i buy all this shrine stuff. Bin laden was isolated - and had been for years, Mohamed Bouazizi had already killed him earlier this year. I've just read how the news was treated in Egypt - viewed as irrelevant. I see no reason why his burial ground would become a shrine - and if it did it would only be for the four lions types, and so could actually prove useful for the powers that be - if placed somewhere remote well monitored. That said, i'm not sure anyone official has said this is the reason for the burial at sea (if it took place) - that may be gap filling in on our part.

Hey cunt I've not met you before. Do you know how to fuck off or has your fuck-off button worn out?
I'm guessing the fantasy land you live in is a pretty lonley place, yes?

I have no recollection of meeting you either. I hope your posts are up to scratch but I'll hardly do a search. Go fuck yourself anyway and try not use the c word. It's very unclassy.
My best mate is Jewish btw and he doesn't reckon I'm anti semetic. I don't think he does anyway.
Tight as arseholes !

Get help, rory.

I view Thatcher as irrelevant these days and see no reason why her burial ground would become a shrine or anti-shrine...

She still wields some influence. When she finally dies (hurry up and go, will you?), I'm going on a week-long bender. :p

In the words of Billy Batts "No one's gonna spoil my party". :D

Yes, but plenty of others don't. That's the difference with Bin Laden. You managed to miss the point with your whining.

More people view a senile old woman who has been out of power for 20 years, as more relevant than a mass murderering shit who inspires acts of terror across the globe on a regular basis?

Have you bin drinkin?

Why are you prodding me in the chest about Thatcher? I didn't mention her. I made a point about being sceptical of the suggestion that Bin Ladens grave would have become a popular shrine. If you've got something to say about that then let's have it. Otherwise i'm not interested in your weepy madness.

I'm would be prepared to welcome the death of Bin Laden on the basis that he was responsible for, and colluded with, violence against and the oppression of women, secularists and working class civilians in Afghanistan, New York, Nairobi and elsewhere. However, by the same token I would also have to welcome the deaths of many of the bureaucrats that worked at the WTC on 11/9. After all, as Ward Churchill points out, they were at the technocratic core of an economic world order that allows 30,000 children to die every day from easily preventable causes. The structural barbarism in which they colluded meant that they were up to their eyeballs in blood, the level of death and chaos they helped unleash on the world would make a playground gangster like OBL blush.

Bin Laden's grave would have attracted a legion of nutters and would be jihadists - the man is revered by the terrorist nutjobs out there - he was the AQ figurehead for fuck' sake.

The only weepy madness is you crying over your half empty glass, as per usual.

No, you're right. She's a non entity, consigned to the dustbins of history. How anyone can compare her to OBL is, well, taking the piss.

You speak like someone who wasn't around in the 1980's. Thatcher may not have massacred loads of miners with an AK-47 but her policies affected the physical and mental health of all those communities. People died because of Thatcher.

She's not a "non-entity" and as I said in an earlier post, she still has influence.

Oddly enough, the old man excuse/defence doesn't work for Mugabe why should it work for Thatcher?
