the national - white sessions
fuck it's good.

i'm gonna c/p this band and probably post it for the next five years, or until they come up with an album title as good as 'sad songs for dirty lovers'

other bands getting a look in are amorphous androgynous and cowboy junkies
*loves*

oh yesh.
i've 'touched' someone that's touched them :)
i really want to see them live. and stupidly, when i was being headfucky in january, didn't take up the offer of seeing 'em in glasgow.
'parently they've got a new album coming out :)

You should check back, he's been stirring up some bad reputation again recently.
Yes I saw that - it was far too articulate for my tastes - I preferred 'i dun wrong in my pants' and all that shit

This one came out in 2004 - CD1 is pre-Pixies demos and CD2 is re-interpretations

Don't think the new one is out quite yet ...

I think there is either an advert or a review in Classic Rock this month for some new FB stuff. Will check.

Been shopping:

Got my copy of Romanthony's 'Romanworld' home to find it has a STARSAILOR cd in it  which has not been on my cd player.

Ifach Collective Vol.1 CD, seems like a v. good find for £4. Baby Ford rules

Manuel Goettsching - Inventions for Electric Guitar. Classy proto e2-e4 / DIY Steve Reich. Pristine vinyl and cheapish.

Conrad Schnitzler - Gelb 1974. Reissued on vinyl, £6, VERY PLEASED.

I was swapping a few posts with The_Reverend_M yesterday -

Frank Black 93-03

the new Frank Black release comes out on 18/6/7 and is a 2 CD set of his best [solo] ork plus some live bits. Apparently.

The US, Jap and Euro releases will have different track lisitings on the second disc  $$$$$

There's a 7" vinyl  with a new track in the offing as well.

I thangyew. :)
