# On The CD Player Today (take 6)

Just finished listening to William Tyler - Behold the Spirit, as suggested by Randy and Earl and well pleased as it is great

About to listen to
PJ Harvey - Let England Shake
Jessica Lea Mayfield - Tell Me

Old favourite

Captain Soul -Beat your crazy head against the sky
Tabitha's Secret - don't Play With Matches
Melbourne Moon - Repairing Fence

On tape in my car Big Audio Dynamite 'Megatop Phoenix'. Has totally got me in the mood for dancing in a field. Prob going to buy tickets to go see them now.

The Supernaturals - Sitting In The Sun
NOFX - Punk In Drublic (until the cd committed suicide around track 12:mad:)
Scars Of Tomorrow - Design Your Fate

Mogwai - "Hardcore Will Never Die, But You Will"

On the first listen, it gets better as the album progresses. Annoyingly, my local record shop didn't have the Polly or Gruff Rhys albums in yet, so I'll have to go back later in the week. I did manage to get the new Twilight Singers though, which I didn't know existed until today. I love Greg Dulli, but haven't had time to listen to it yet. Reviews seem to think it's the best TS record yet.

The Bellrays - Meet The Bellrays

Like Bessie Smith on acid, backed by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, remixed by the Chemical Brothers. Just plain ace.
