Alan Lamb - Primal Image. Amazing drone recordings created by placing contact mics on to electrical pilons I believe. Someone has uploaded it to their blog here.

The Distillers - Coral Fang
Status Quo - Live at the BBC

eta: only listened to the first disc, not bothered with the concert one yet
cd1 is mostly early interesting stuff (versions of Pictures Of Matchstick Men and a cover of Judy In Disguise With Glasses that's (up until the ending) mostly better than the hideous original. Bit of an odd listen how it suddenly jumps from the early 70s to pratting about with Steve Wright  in the late 80s & doing the hits in 2005
Will probably go back on amazon but I think'll be tracking down a better/studio version of Black Veils Of Melancholy.

yesterday/today

Brigade - Love Is A Duel (Rock sound ep)
Rock sound Bugging Your Ears no. 142
Bjork - Greatest Hits
Blue States - Nothing Changes Under The Sun

Neon Indian: Psychic Chasms
Red Hot Rockabilly '50 hard hitting rockabilly classics on 2 cds'.....a £3 bargain and perfect for tidying & cooking.

Gonjasufi - A Sufi and a Killer. If I'd heard this earlier it would definitely been in my urban top 20, possibly in top 5. Strange but groovy stuff.

Roots Manuva - Duppy Writer
The Ramones - Greatest Hits
Plan B - The Defamation of Strickland Banks

The Infested- Myths, Lies And Hypocrites
Patti Smith - peace and noise
Echo And The Bunnymen - Heaven Up Here
