the final listen through for the dreaded Golden Wedding cd's. Mario Lanza really quite....somethnig.

Lulu's The Boat That I Row is bloody amazing tho

on Urban radio -Supine - Cosmic Tuesday followed by
Brother Randy Hickey Is Easy Like Sunday Morning
(really liking this mix, beautiful songs. Did wonder 'when did The Coctau twins cover Birthday?' . Simple/plain but outstanding version of version of Shake Sugaree playing atm)

^ probably the best ever version of Joleen, and this song following is quietly lovely.
*falls asleep on my keyboard*

I've declared it old skool house day round mine today. So far we've had Frankie Knuckles, K-Klass, 808 State, A Guy Called Gerald, Shades Of Rhythm, Hardfloor, Corporation of One and various other tunes, some squelchy, some pianoey. Takes you back, all that, dunnit? :)

Listening to this on a loop at the mo: - when it runs out it just begs to be played again
something special going on there

experimenting with mflow - just had Iggy & the Stooges - Search And Destroy now a meh version of Lust For Life.
(well that's shit - you can't access songs people shared before you started following them)

only on vinyl
