I'm still ripping CDs nine to the dozen, and digging up bits and pieces I'd forgotten I had. Aside from isolated tracks here and there I've listened through most of:

Bob Dylan - Good As I Been To You
Creedence Clearwater Revival - best of
Beautiful South - 0898 (yes, yes, I know, but I like it. :p )
Manic Street Preachers - some unlistenable bootleg of early stuff
Bent - Programmed to Love (forgotten how good that is  )
Merz - Merz
Broken Family Band - Hello Love

Radiohead - Pablo Honey. Creep is still their best ever track IMO.
Arrrrggghhh memory lane...... :)

Follwed by Rammstein - Mutter. Yay :)

And what's so wrong with shoegazing?

(yes, there is a bit)

I think he's playing Blowpipe now. There's some good covers on there.

is there something about Jesu stuff that's a bit (gulp) 'shoegazing'? :D
yeah... the comparisons with mbv and the like have been made in virtually every review i've read of them for the past few years.

they're still dead good, mind.

The Oysterband - Little Rock To Leipzig
Ali Farka Toure and Toumani Diabate - In The Heart Of The Moon
David Bowie - Hunky Dory
Morrissey - Maladjusted
The Housemartins - The People Who Grinned Themselves To Death
Mazzy Star - So Tonight That I Might See
The Psychedelic Furs - bits and pieces off various albums
The Oysterband - Deserters
Manic Street Preachers - some bootlegged early stuff

Tunng - Good Arrows, again

This lot are fucking excellent  Shiteload of fairly obvious influences, all tied up in a funny, thought-provoking mix of songs

Autechre - "ep7"
Super Furry Animals - Breezeblock mix
Iggy And The Stooges - "Raw Power"
Junior Senior - "D-d-don't Don't stop The Beat"
Massive Attack - "Blue Lines"
