In late March, there was an oil leak at Wytch Farm oil field. The incident occurred at an oil pipeline owned by Perenco. Despite the oil spilling into the sea and the surrounding area, causing significant pollution to the marine environment, the truth is that this oil field has been in operation since 1979. Should it be replaced as it continues to pose a risk of marine pollution incidents?
