Oddbox - £10 off vouchers

sojourner

Where's me readers?
Eh up

I've got a handful of these to give away if anyone wants one? PM me for the code.

Back story - I got a fruit and veg box from Oddbox using a £10 off Refer Me doodah from a mate. It made a £13.99 small box affordable at £3.99. I'm not sure they are actually worth the full price, BUT, if you use the voucher for whatever size box you fancy, you get £10 off, and I get ANOTHER £10 off! That makes them affordable for us both.

If you want one can you PLEASE USE IT ASAP, and then I can get a £10 off my next box. My cut-off date for the next order is 18th November.

Oh and you can cancel whenever you like. I will have to cancel my next one if no one takes this up cos I'm not paying full price for it!

Would do but they deliver at weird hours so it's probably unsuitable for where I live. Don't really fancy waiting up all night for them to turn up!

I would, but their delivery is a bit odd - they deliver overnight and as I live in a flat on an estate (not their demographic, clearly), there's nowhere safe to leave it and someone would have to be up to buzz them into the building.
Probably alright for people with things like gardens or sheds where it could be left during the night.

You know what, if it is possible to just use this for a one-off box and then cancel, I'd be interested - do I just have to order before 18th for your renewal? Cos first delivery I can get is 23rd as I've missed the cutoff for this week.
I am semi-nocturnal anyway and it seems I can leave an instruction with the driver to buzz me on the entryphone, a tenner off seems like too good a deal to miss out on as long as I can cancel after that. I could do with some cheap veg this month!!!

So I'll send you a PM.

I've got all I need now for my 5 referral discounts, thanks everyone, but if anyone else wants a tenner off (aka DIRT CHEAP BOX OF FRESH PRODUCE), gis a shout and I'll send over the code :)

Mate, it's discounted food. Some folk won't bother about the referrals, some will. I did cos skint.
I'm just suprised the company can give away so much discount vouchers wise and stay afloat - I suppose its a way for them to get new customers though, even if quite a few will cancel after one delivery. Definitely take advantage of it though.

I'm not sure, but I think that all of these wonky veg are rejected by big supermarkets and the like and would otherwise be ploughed back into the fields or otherwise composted. So there's a profit to be made if they can establish a customer base - they probably need the voucher encouragement to snag the distributed customers and get it properly off the ground.

I think it's expensive for what it is on an ongoing basis but a good cheap vouchered box on a one-off basis.

I think the majority of their clientele are m/c and more focussed on the eco-friendly bit of it, salve their collective 4 wheel drive consciousness. I bet they don't get many w/c people like me who will push hard to get as much cheap stuff as poss.

It's all food that is either surplus to orders or a bit wonky. It says on the site. None of it is past its best. As you say, it would only go to waste otherwise. Full price though, I wouldn't buy it. Can get way cheaper in Lidl.

This, for really good value for money I like the Morrison's "Wonky" and ASDA "for cooking" veg ranges, excellent value for big bags of slightly misshapen peppers especially.

Just got my box, cheers mate :)
Ah, looks like you got the small box then :) Smashing :) Make sure you either cancel the sub before the next order is triggered, or do what I've done, and get your mates to buy a box, ensuring another discount for you.

You would fit well with my bloody cat. it isn't the cat door, clicking, its the bloody caterwauling to make sure we're still here, when he's been out for an hour. :)

I reckon that's worth £10.90, so great for £3.99 but not quite there for £13.99:

Parsnips 1kg: £1.00
Squash: £1.25
Apples x3: £1.35
Satsumas 300g: £0.60
Celery: £0.55
Cabbage: £0.65
Red potatoes 1kg: £1.20
Persimmon x3: £1.20
Tenderstem 200g: £1.60
Babyleaf salad: £1.50
Yeh, that's why I said I don't think it's worth the full price. It's about the same price as you'd pay in Tesco, but you'd get a lot cheaper in Aldi or Lidl.

Well worth it with the discount offer though. Hence my taking it to the limit.

Have you had an email, or checked your account to see if it's showing?

No not had an email and there's nothing showing in the account. I've sent a message on the Help thing and had an email back to say they've got my enquiry so should hear back within 24 hours.

They kept saying I was trying to use an invalid card (it isn't, it's my main card) so I did that Help thing and apparently they'll get back to me within 24 hours.
