That's unfortunate. You won't fit a 27" in there. Mine are 61cm wide.Present screen is 49cm AC
Width wise I have 59cm available ..
Hmm, starting to look at screens. Why are they described in Inches FFSThat's unfortunate. You won't fit a 27" in there. Mine are 61cm wide.
It looks like 24.5 is probably as big as you could go.

Oh well, lucky I grew up in the odd hinterland where dimensions were given in both metric and imperial .. still seems strange .. :/They always have been

I think 27" AC (Across Corners) will be too big for my computer desk.If you can somehow find space for a 27" 1440p (2560x1440) screen it will feel so much nicer.
Thing is UnderOpenSky, I really don't want to mess with my desk. Its a simple computer desk, a space below for the tower and any printers etc, then above a place for keyboard and mouse and monitor with a shelf at top for nick nacks ..Could you get one of those arms you screw to the wall?
What do you recon about this one?24" then. Which is fine and most people use this or smaller. Probably little be gained going over 1920 x 1080 at that size and no more then 60htz. I'd look for a display with an IPS or maybe a VA panel.
That looks like a decent monitor at a good price. 3000:1 contrast ratio is good. The higher the better for photo editing. At 250cd/m2 it's not the brightest, but unless you're using it in direct light or a really bright room it'll be fine.
When I used to work at Reckitt & Colman pharmaceuticals they used to get PET PC boards covered in lemsip powder from the factory that stopped them working. The technicians used to wash the boards under a running tap and give it a soft brush. The boards were then dried using an airline and left next to a radiator for 24 hours before putting back in the computer.Cat piss is worse than neat hydrochloric acid. I have boxes of electronics in the cat room/workshop that I really wish I hadn't left in there. I've had literally thousands of squids worth of stuff destroyed by cat piss
I think it's a bit beyond thatWhen I used to work at Reckitt & Colman pharmaceuticals they used to get PET PC boards covered in lemsip powder from the factory that stopped them working. Might be worth trying.
Doesn't look bad compared to lemsip encrusted boards.
I picked it up and the USB socket fell off and crumbled in my hand. I think it's beyond a rinseDoesn't look bad compared to lemsip encrusted boards.
They do say it's their best price .. I don't figure I should chose something too expensive, it is a pressy from my family to me ..Jesus that's cheap. I've not seen a bad new monitor for years now and I quite like VA panels. I trust this site, so check your happy with it's limitations.
Lenovo D27-30 Review
