Just download, it then asks you to agree to certain things & confirm you are over 16, job done.

My understanding is that it is a potential Bluetooth error with the app thinking you have been near someone for 15 minutes when you haven’t.

Don’t get me wrong, I want it to work. But I’ll be cautious and wait for reports before downloading.

I’m disappointed it doesn’t make a sonar-like echoing bing noise as it scans.

Hancock said it was simple to use, when speaking on BBC Breakfast this morning. That's all the confirmation I need. Won't be using it.

Yes, I was hoping it would alert me about approaching joggers who had failed to socially distance in the pub last Saturday.

I would like a zap feature added please. Take out any lurgy types when they get within 100 metees.

Given that it's better for us all the more people that use it, report bugs etc, of course I'll use it. Seems slightly selfish and odd to rule out using it on some the grounds people have given above tbh. Also be interested to see reports of what some of the above people have quoted as fact. Given it's only starting widespread use from today it sounds more like gossip than reality.

The only people I'm likely to be anywhere near for over 15 minutes will be at university and there's already a bubble system and isolation procedures in place for that.

All the reviews seem to be from before today, the official launch date, and many are just moaning it doesn't work because they don't have a code, due to them not being an NHS worker or living in the areas being trialled.

I wouldn't take any notice of the rating ATM.
