New spl season gets started

Lambert could play a bit though.

Watty smith was at almondvale on saturday, watching the hibs players i think. We might see Derek Riorden in blue soon, he ripped us apart.

Meanwhile, though it's not the SPL, can anybody tell me what on earth's gone wrong at Shielfield Park this season?

Terrible start; new signings didn;t work out as expected; long serving, successful manager Paul Smith callously sacked in Stranraer's car park; in a fit of temporary insanity, the board appointed Sandy Clark as his replacement.

Berwick are atrocious this season. Even worse than Arbroath. And, at the moment, that's really saying something.

May i recommend the following sites with which to sate your berwick curiosity:

http://www.theducket.com

http://www. pie andbovril.co.uk (check the second division boards, where yopu will have legions of Berwick fans bemonaing their latest 0-5 home defeat)

As I recall there's two good pubs on the way. I also however recall it being incredibly cold even in April (though not, by repute, as cold as Arbroath).

arbroath is indeed very, very cold. The wind blows off the north sea, as the stadium is right on the seas front. Not too bad in the summer though, as long as you stay out of the water.

I've a mate who's an Arbroath fan. We went to see Arbroath v St Johnstone a few seasons back and I swear it was the hottest day I've ever experienced in Scotland. Few good pubs there and a some good banter - I won't mention the football.

More recent experience of Gayfield - Russell Anderson taking a free kick from the halfway line and the ball ending up err... in his own half.

Windiest stadium in Scotland??? Possibly the Caley Stadium but it's certainly up there!

When i was a kid my old gran had a caravan at the 'red lion' site, just across the road from the beach. A hot day is very hot, but a windy day is pure hell.

As for windy satdiums, the south stand (or thew zed shed as itis known) has got to be one of the windiest stands i've sat in.

choose hun team

If all the above are available your talking 2, maximum. Alex Rae and Thompson.

whit?
Now i'm not a fan of that idiot Malcolm, but he gets picked, a lot. And Ferguson would be in every starting lineup, if he ever gets to leave Blackburn. I also think Thompson is shite, but Mcleash thinks he's good enough, so he would indeed get picked.

"clown to remain at circus"

"Now i'm not a fan of that idiot Malcolm, but he gets picked, a lot."

Ye, he does. I think my subconscious has yet to overcome that fact.

On another note, looks like SPL fans will continue to be entertained by Dens Park's resident clown for a wee while yet...

aye i read that, d'ye think the monaco story was just shit, to get a new contract?
It would have to be. Surely. I mean who in their right mind would turn down Monte Carlo for Dundee.
Then again i suppose Prso swapped it for Govan.

aye but prso is being payed a fortune, and will fuck off back to france(where he lived even before he got taken on at monaco) when his contract ends.

jesus berti what happenned to you?
4-1 at home!
against the team you want to see get relegated instead of you!
it doesnt make it easy for you- especially as dundee got a draw against hearts- which by all standards is an impressive result!

It's the same story as last week, we presured them the whole game without ever looking like scoring. Horvarth scored a good goal, in the 1st half, to make it 1-2. The second half was all us, we had about 70% of the ball, the 4th goal killed me, i just got up and left, it's the first time EVER that i've left before the final whistle. I took my oldest son with me, the 2 of us sat silent the whole way back on the bus. I'm too scared to look at the league table. :(
I can't even be bothered to get drunk.......I'm gutted, it looks like the 1st division for us, all we can hope for now is dundee united to get fucked for the next few weeks....... :(

looks like falkirk will be joining us next season
they've won it a fair few times now without being allowed to be promoted
at least this time they know that their guaranteed spl football in 2005/6

It's not over yet. Saints are only 22 or so points behind Falkirk in 4th. If Falkirk lose 7 games then we'll be right back in there.

Ok, I'm desperately clutching at straws here. Fuck it.

nothing wrong with being an optimistic fan
unless you have faith
what exactly are you 'supporting'?
we all went to seville believing we could win
you should have the same attitude too
but then again
even if falkirk WERE to lose 7 games
the other 2 teams St Mirren and Clyde would also have to lose
and then we're in the realms of fantasy...
maybe next year eh :p

Seen some Pics of huns trying to sabotage a Bloody Sunday March

not really anything to do with SPL and its best not to bring this sort of thing up in front of wankers like bertie - he'll fuckin love this - more conclusive proof that celtic are the root of all evil..... (yeah i never really follow what passes for logic in his head - but yeah i mean obv i don't have any say in what goes in what threads but there is already a hell of a lot of non-spl related gubbins in here that i would have thought that one of the politico boards would be the best place for this

It is when numerous Celtic busses were trashed by the knuckledraggers, maybe it was the Motherwell fans

Secondly the counter demonstration was organised by numerous members on followfollow.com a very popular voice of Rangers fans. Just goto there site where they were posting pics of folk on the parade and askin if anyone knew who they were. The pics just show what an element and a fairly large one not just a few of the Rangers support are nowt but lowlife rightwing lumpen proles, with there ahem Ulster salutes ;) same as the monkey chants at Balde were Zulu chants

you don't need to tell me about the knuckledragging scum that is followfollow - i am only too aware of them.... however there is a politics board here - quite a few people on here woud probably rather discuss the matter there - this isn't even a celtic thread - its an SPL thread - and shoehorning this into an SPL thread makes little sense to me when there are other forums where its better suited - thats all ahm sayin on the matter.

Almost a well thought out coupla posts there chorlte. I do agree that this is not the place. I will agree however that the people involved in the disturbances are knuckledraggers, but i see that the usual-majority of rangers fans are arses rfubbish is being spouted again. Look how tight the potographes are, this was a small rabble of fuckwits out to cause trouble.

Anyway, on the subject of the spl. Will celtic get riorden( i heard today that leeds have offered 1M for the young hibbee), or even Belamy(he's nae future at newcastle)? Burton O'brien is supposed to be going to Leicester, and balde tae middlesburgh.
And livi sign mark wilson(middlesburgh) on loan 'till the end of the season.
