Needham Market v. Dulwich Hamlet, 23rd April 2016

Re food, I was in Needham Market a couple of years ago and there was an excellent curry place by the station. Unlikely to be of use to those on the bus but may interest anyone travelling independently. Just hope the chef etc hasn't changed since then.
I've been told it's still excellent.

The "food" at Wingate & Finchley was the worst I've ever experienced at a football match, by a long, long way. It's put me right off buying stuff to eat inside grounds.
The burger at Bohemia was lovely.

Is there anywhere for people with less than working ankles to sit at the ground? Is there a car park? Apologies if I've missed this info further up the thread...

We have a fair sized car park, but with a decent crowd expected, we have the second pitch for overspill. Last home game of last season against Harlow we had 980 there any everyone got parked within the ground. Main stand and stand behind far goal have 'low level seating' so as long as you grab your place 10 - 15 mins before kick-off you shouldn't have a problem

Thanks to the Pink Panther for putting me right and information.

Couldn't forget Needham being in an epic promotion race last year, hence reason for posting- and sentiments to them still stand .

When teams get 100 + points they deserve to go up. Had totally overlooked / now forgotten it was Harlow in the race with them that were pipped.

Let's hope Harlow get up this season instead.

I'd prefer a trip to Bromley for Cray Wanderers personally.

We've got a first timer coming along tomorrow. He's absolutely nuts about football. Hopefully he'll get a proper Hamlet welcome ❤

Wondering how long to allow to drive there. Google reckons a couple of hours which seems hopelessly optimistic to me.
