More police brutality than you can shake a stick at.

No, you haven't. You tried to wriggle with the 'force of necessity' interpretation (i.e. that, regardless of the legal position, you have to do what they say), but you've not explained the inconsistency between that and the idea that you wouldn't have to give your details if you thought their request was illegal; the two are obviously contradictory. That's because your point is clearly bollocks, cobbled together after the fact to save face (at which it fails).
Correct me if I am wrong but didn't you once practice law, quite a long time ago,?

Not sure if this has ever been posted, it's doing the rounds on social media but is a few years old.

A man reported by other guests to have a gun in his hotel room. Police called to the incident shoot him while unarmed. Cop was acquited.

How on earth could that cop get acquitted for that?!!! It’s stone cold murder.

I’m fucking furious after watching that - that cop is utter fucking vile scum - he executed that man.

The debate continues this evening:

Can't even call the police without getting a beating.

The guy is talking to the police and from the video it looks like they can see what he's doing, unloading his gun. They had received a 911 call and knew the shop owner was armed and holding a shoplifter but presumably their tiny racist minds were struggling with the idea of a black owned business.

To top it all off they charged him with obstruction.

Police brutality doesn't normally surprise me any more, but on this occasion I am astounded that, in the current climate, a white copper could be so pig shit fucking stupid as to kneel on a black man's neck, whilst being filmed.:mad: :mad:and

Glad there is still C4 News to cover thing like this. A interview worth watching.

Disturbingly, Channel Four News' regular 'talking head' on Metropolitan Police assaults on 'black' people, Dr Victor Olisa QPM, appears to use the interview to blame 'black people' for the fact that the man apparently under arrest (and others who have been similarly assualted) is being assaulted - potentially lethally - by one of his former colleagues.

Police brutality doesn't normally surprise me any more, but on this occasion I am astounded that, in the current climate, a white copper could be so pig sh*t f**king stupid as to kneel on a black man's neck, whilst being filmed.:mad: :mad:and

Actually, given the racial views of many of those who have found refuge in the police force in Britain, many people have now come to expect this form of behaviour on their part, given that they face no significant consequences for the results of such potentially lethal behaviour.

'Get Off My Neck' – Police Officer Suspended After Being Filmed Kneeling On Black Man During Arrest

Timur Rustem, the lawyer for 48-year old Marcus Coutain who was detained as a Metropolitan Police officer kneeled on his neck, has demanded an official apology for Mr Coutain.

Mr Coutain, who was filmed pleading with officers to “get off my neck” as he was handcuffed on the pavement in Islington, north London, on Thursday evening (16 July 2020), appeared at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Saturday (18 July 2020) charged with possessing a knife in public, to which he indicated a plea of not guilty.

Mr Coutain was bailed as the case was sent to Snaresbrook Crown Court for hearing on 17 August 2020. Mr Rustem told the court that Mr Coutain had initially been searched for drugs and had then been told he matched the description of “someone involved in an attack”.

He told the court Mr Coutain had the knife for repairing his bicycle, adding: “He had a lawful reason to have that item on him.” Mr Rustem named officer David Herald in court and read out his statement.

It's probably something to d0o with the fact they've become so used, over the years, to there being barely any accountability
e2a: OK, GarveyLives made that point before me, which I missed:oops:

On 13 March 2020, 26-year-old emergency medical technician, Breonna Taylor, was 'mutilated with bullet holes while in her underwear' when she was shot eight times when police officers entered her apartment in Louisville, Kentucky. They were executing a search warrant as part of a drugs investigation, but no drugs were found in the property.
The police officers were investigating two people suspected of selling drugs, neither of whom was Ms Taylor.

Police fired more than 20 rounds of ammunition into Ms Taylor's home.

There is no body camera footage from the raid.

All of the players in the New York Liberty and Seattle Storm match wore Taylor's name on the back of their shirts on Saturday.

They then walked off the court as the national anthem played.
