Anyone else wonder if Keanu is having some financial problems? He's making the usual rounds of remakes of things that don't need remaking and would probably be awful if they did:

They got progressively worse from there. By the third one is was nearly incomprehensible.

I can imagine him not making so much from the first Matrix, but after that I bet he coined it in on the following movies. At the time of the first, was he that much of a star? back then?

The first one was an awesome film. Great soundtrack too. Prodigy, Propellerheads, Rage, Rob Doogan (Clubbed to Death), spawned a heap of cultural references. Everyone had that screensaver and wanted that phone.

The other two were just a load of bollocks.

Meh. Maybe if it's something like the Animatrix, or if it's set in one of the different versions of the Matrix (there were supposed to be several versions).

That's not fair.
There was one cool fight scene in the other two.

A lot of it was CGI.
But it was still cool.

Not worth producing two films for perhaps.

I’m a big fan of the John Wick films. If they can channel some of that energy into this film and have a half-decent plot then I’m sold.

Yeah imagine if it took the piss out of itself. Would be much better. Like a US version of the first kingsmen movie.
