Manchester City - Jesus saves, Ederson plays - MCFC - OK!

Yep, well done City. Played some genuinely beautiful football his season and won it in what is becoming customary dramatic style today.

My Stepdad's been City all his life and it's a joy to see him so happy watching a team that really struggled for years.

I'm looking forward to MOTD tonight. Had half an eye on your game while watching Liverpool and still haven't quite got my head round how you turned it round in 5 minutes. :D

The pitch invasion was quite worrying, though I don't think they need any dramatic financial penalties. Maybe just dock them 2 points.

That's how it goes sometimes; I thought we were breezing into the Champions League final a couple of weeks back and then Real scored two goals in a minute.

More than 'quite worrying'.

Curious. Both the vids I posted about the Olsen incident have been down as well as the original Sky News article, and removed from Twitter too....

Anyway, this is still up

Pep Guardiola apologised to Olsen and Villa. “I’m so sorry on behalf of the club. The emotions, it’s difficult to understand why the people respond in this way. Hopefully we can discover who it was and he’ll be punished. I don’t know how to stop it, you cannot put 1,000 guards [around the pitch].”

In a statement City said: “Manchester City would like to sincerely apologise to Aston Villa goalkeeper Robin Olsen, who was assaulted after the final whistle at today’s match when fans entered the pitch.

“The Club has launched an immediate investigation and once identified, the individual responsible will be issued with an indefinite stadium ban.”

Didn't look like an assault tbf, more like over-exuberant slaps round the head to go ahhhhhhhhhh but obviously there was no need

This one still works. I reckon a lot were just taken down by bots controlling copyright.

Disappointed in blues who did this and I agree with Steel Icarus above in that it wasn't as bad as I'd feared from media reports but definitely no need for it all.

There's been way too many pitch invasions this past week.
