Away game on Tuesday at Maidstone, the masters of percentage football. Not been to their ground before and planning first trip. Is food available (and is it as bad as Welling?). Parking near ground available?

Went there earlier this season. Assuming midweek is same as Saturdays, then there were decent pasties. Went by train so not sure about parking, but pretty sure there was some between the ground and the library..

Maidstone East Station car park is probably your best bet. Pie hut and burger van are great if no segregation. No idea if you’re important enough to segregate; hope not. Otherwise, loads of decent places to eat and drink in the town centre. At our best, the long pinpoint passes out to the wings are a thing of wonder. At our worst, it never quite gets going. Always look forward to Dulwich visits.

I'm based in Chatham these days so I love our trips to Maidstone. 😂 can't beat the bus stop literally being end of my road.

Nice town centre with fair bit to do (the museum is excellent), plenty pubs n bars and places to eat...the ground is decent, the fans similar, the pie chips n mushy peas is fucking amazing and the stewards are spot on. Plus they observed a minutes silence for Mishi impeccably which I'll always respect them for.

I'll likely arrive later afternoon Tuesday, mooch in town for a while before heading to Spoons.

Trains back don't look great, 21.58 looks tight and if you miss that the final train back to London is over and hour later

Segregation causes more problems than it solves. Amazing how brave the kids get with a barrier and line of police between them and away fans. But we’re stuck with it for Kent derbies. Although it’s always fun to watch the away fans emerge from the Spitfire Lounge and try to work out where to go. Some stand where segregation used to be, some disperse at pitch side, some take over the Town End because we don’t really swap ends. Barrow just march right into the middle of our kids.

Halftime and we're one down. Entirely preventable imho. We've had a couple of anaemic half chances but like the orphan Oliver, we're left begging for more whilst the Stones make hay. They really should be 2 or 3 up.

What Dulwich fans there are here are making some noise but somewhat inevitably we're being outside by the stones support.
