Lunch should have its own thread

A pilaf with wild rice, mushrooms, baby sweetcorn, peppers, chilli, bacon, lamb, peas, and maybe some more stuff that I didn't notice. Proper left-overs meal

Why is it that if I have a sandwich, pretty soon I need another ?

Goat Cheese "ploughmans", followed by full-on ploughmans. I'm supposed to be giving up dairy until Xmas too. :p

Cake and tea for afters.

Two toasted wholemeal pittas stuffed full of spinach and dipped in low fat humous.
I bit of low fat Rachel's Raspberry Yoghurt (she didn't mind) hmmmmm :)

MASSIVE chicken and salad sandwich from one of those sandwich bar places in covent garden. At first i was outraged by the cost of £4 - until i saw the size of it. Unlike supermarket/pret/eat sandwiches, this one may actually keep me going til dinner time.

Veggie Lincolnshire sausages, Tesco "Value" instant mash, mushy peas, tahini, apple sauce.

Alternate swigs of Bishop's Finger and Chateauneuf du fake.

White rolls with cheese and pate. Not sure this is a good combination in a roll?

I may have been a bit sleepy when making lunch.

Today there are three sandwiches in my drawer.

1x Ham, mayo and mustard
1x Ham, cheese, mayo and mustard
1x Pate

I don't know what I'll have for lunch yet, but it will involve taking the roof off the 2CV and cruising to Brighton and sitting outside with a pint of bitter in the sunshine

was going to have a bacon sarnie but the bread was deathly stale so had a fry up - bacon, chorizo, tomato and lots of garlic and black pepper mmmm :)

Sounds perfect. I hope you enjoyed your pint yardbird.

Houmous, ryvita, yellow pepper and carrot for me today.
