Lunch should have its own thread

I just did BL a couscous with pork, pickled ginger, lemongrass, chilli and stir fried veg. A sort of North African/Asian mishmash. Tastes good though, he tells me, which is just as well because he's having it for supper too. He's been off work sick for a week so my half-term went out of the window. I've spent most of it ministering to his culinary needs

I didn't have breakfast so I've just warmed up and eaten 3 roast potatoes and a bit of leftover stuffing, green beans and carrots smothered in gravy and mint sauce. Lush.

Off to loot the soopermarket shelves for luncheon today.
Will see what is on special offer or just eat loads as I walk round.
They seem to have (after a good run) stopped doing special offers on the deli stuff.

I'm at home as on nights so have a potato baking in the oven to be assisted by a mature cheddar and a green salad with added oomph of cocktail pickled onions.

3 slices of cold roast beef, with dijon mustard mayo, on crusty white bread, with cherry toms

yum

found the mustard mayo in the back of my cupboard, god knows how long it's been there, but it's fine

and now for choccy biccies

Two boiled eggs with wholemeal toast soldiers.

And the small girl decided off her own back that it was time to retry boiled eggs.....and concluded that she likes them now.

All on the reduced section:

Cheese and onion slice
Bag of salad
Carton of cranberry juice
Pack of S&V crisps
Tub of tomato and mozzarella pasta

S'up doll?

I've just stuffed meself with a large bowl of squash/cabbage/pancetta soup stew. Can probably fit a couple of choccy biccies in though

Jesus - just inhaled a bowl of carrot/lentil/pancetta soup with a fuckoff big thick crust of buttered toast in about a minute

Still hungy
