Lunch should have its own thread

Went to the pub for a sandwich. It was an extra £3 for a bowl of twice cooked chips and they tasted like the ones my nanna uses to make. The tuna mayo sandwich was enormous! Also got some onion rings which were delicious. All this for £23, it could have fed 4 people. :hmm:

Lunch is more of a psychological thing for me at the moment.
I'm in caloric deficit, but I wouldn't mind speeding things up a bit...

But I have a fridge full of oversized courgettes - even after giving away quite a few - with a few more to come before mildew finishes them off - and which I'm adding to my evening stew every day, but I reckon they're more pleasing as a salad for my bland palate - grated with milled flaxseed, balsamic dressing and of course tahini - also some mung and fenugreek sprouts - served with hummus and croutons plus alfalfa and radish sprouts...

I use the skin and pith as well - as the embryo seeds are likely to be one of the more nutritious parts...

A wrap with cream cheese and salad (grated carrot/beetroot, cucumber, spring onion, pickled jalapeños), plus a large orange.

Beef broth with red split lentils.

If your lentils have turned to mush, that means you've overcooked them, right?

Homemade bacon, extra mature local cheddar and dijon turnovers thanks to SO using up extra bits we had. Still too full now after 2, not used to much if anything at lunch
