Walked into Sainsbury's this morning to buy lunch for work and they've got the Christmas sandwich range out. I tried to resist but ended up buying the 'Pigs Under Blankets'.

Also, a Jaffa Cake donut.

I had cheese on toast for lunch on Thursday, inspired by the lyrics of a Roots Manuva song that was played on BBCR6.

Yesterday we went out and i had a "twisted chicken ciabatta" which was chicken tenders, smokey bacon, guacamole, tomatoes, Lettuce, cheese. It was so large I had half for lunch and the other half for dinner 7 hours later.

Today is a bowl of leftover rice, chicken and sweetcorn. Himself is having roasted spicy pumpkin soup (was supposed to be a Jack O' latern) and Crusty bread.

Scrambled eggs over 2 slices of toast, 4 rashers of crispy bacon, splashes of hot sauce and lashings of maple syrup.

Had an epic breakfast, so a few mince pies to keep me going till I start the roast.

Been grazing since cereal breakfast. Bit of saucisson, few crisps, banana and wine.

Working in a hotel today and hoping they offer some foods (didn't last week ) as there is a decent spread of curries on offer today.

Two soft brown baps with sliced turkey and pea sprout salad on.

Easy peeler, and one mouthful of a very tart plum. Eww!

Working in a hotel today and hoping they offer some foods (didn't last week ) as there is a decent spread of curries on offer today.

Make friends with some of the waiting staff if possible. Eg. find out where they pop out for fag breaks and loiter there when you have a break. There’s always food available in such places if the staff wish to provide it, even if not officially sanctioned by management.

I've made a lentil soup from the rather sad looking vegetables in the fridge. It tastes amazing! I always forget about soup. I'm having it with some tiger bread.

A can of leek and potato soup. Eaten with a teaspoon as that was the only spoon I could find in the work kitchen

And as it's Friday and I'll be dancing my arse off later, I had a Marathon too. And a coffee.
