Lunch today, fish finger sandwich with HP sauce. Damn supermarkets keep shrinking their fish fingers though, flipping shrinkflation Four FFs in a row used to fill a sandwich, now there’s a big gap top and bottom where the sneaky bastards keep making their fishy fingers a few mm shorter each year.

Can't you flatten them a bit before cooking so they still fit? A rolling pin would do the job.

That's why I rarely buy them - they go manky within seconds out of spite.

Bananas are only edible when they're still blemish free and completely yellow, ideally a bit on the green side. Never saw the appeal of eating a rotting fruit.
