Lunch should have its own thread

roasted chicken breast (no skin), mixed crispy salad, few cherry toms, some cucumber and some coleslaw, with a nice crusty roll  i is lovely and full now :)

but wanting crisps :hmm:

As I have every day: 3 rice cakes with houmous, and some salad… yum yum. Sometimes I diversify and have oatcakes instead of rice cakes.. I’ll let you all know when it happens ;)

do you think it's unhealthy to have the same thing every single day?!

A glass of rich red wine and a small piece each of vintage cheddar and vintage gruyere.

i feel awfully continental.

Not if that's what you're having no, not like a big mac 'n' fries is it ? Sounds yumptious by the way. Apples and grapes would go nicely with that as well ifn' you ever got bored.

i have just had a ham and tomato sandwich with lots of salt and peper and mayo

sometimes the simplist things are the best (i cut it into four triangles too, am sure that made it taste better :hmm:  )

Warming up after building a snowman, about to eat spicy lentil and tomato soup with a baguette.

pasta shells with tinned salmon, frozen peas and sweetcorn, olive oil, balsamic vinegar and pepper.

can you tell this was a store cupboard lunch? :D

Unfortunately I'm snowed in with no food

So cups of coffee followed by rice and ketchup when I can't bear it any more.

a stew of barley, leek, chorizo, peas, yellow pepper, truffle oil and parmesan with a little splash of cream. yummy yum yum :)

i am craving a Snickers so bad...but can't really justify getting myself and baby bundled up and out of the house just for five minutes...but can't be arsed to go anywhere further to make it worthwhile

Leave baby at home, he'll be fine. Give him some matches and cleaning products to play with.

don't forget to tell him to run with the scissors!

My evil daughter always used to trot lines like that out if I left her on her own  She got me so paranoid I went and bought a friggin fire extinguisher first time I left her on her own all night

Just polished off a large bowl of chicken and broccoli with cicatelli in a white sauce.

(I must have been psychic about the weather - left over roast chicken and left over broccoli in the fridge plus pasta from back of store cupboard = lunch for just about nothing.)

we had a selection of sandwiches using up some of the roast beef left over from yesterday's lunch. i had mine with ketchup  :D yum! oh, and some salt and vinegar crisps
