I'm in Scotland with a few people and the guy who drove us up has a Ford Ranger. I'd hate to have to park something that size round town, but I'm a bit jealous of the load space.

This is on my daily commute, and not a single week passes in which I don't witness at least one instance of

- Useless, feareful Range Rover Driver taking 15 seconds to clear the bollards, fucking the traffic up for everyone else. Even when approaching from straight on

- Selfish cunt on a large, extra long van turning left from the embankment who takes even longer due to the difficulty (left turn should be banned for large vehicles, period) in negotiating the obstacle and the kerbs from an angle

- Stupid twat who actually gets the cabin of their truck stuck, ignoring all width-restriction signs, not to mention those barring heavy vehicles from using the bridge, because they don't want spend an extra couple of minutes queuing at the next bridge a mere 0.5 miles away

- Plus an array of debris, from ripped wing mirrors to even body panels, claimed by the bollards

Given that the bridge is structurally weak, they should simply ban all vehicles over 2t from entering. Which would mean the entire large SUV market, and all vans and small trucks would be excluded.

Love the way that when I look at that on the phone the company selling it gets their name shortened…

I reckon there's something a bit dodgy about about that car. It's advertised as an X6M but I'm pretty sure the M has a big M sport logo on the rev counter. That one hasn't. And the current owner hasn't taxed it since they bought it in 2021. With that in mind, beesonthewhatnow , I'd think twice before parting with your money.

Spoil my dream why don’t you? :D

Could be worth putting in a cheeky bid for the statue of a bear standing at a urinal in the back of the photo

Sadly it won’t affect RRs, but as we were discussing Albert Bridge just upthread, Combustible and hash tag might be interested to know this sign has just come up

The weight limit is 3t not 3.5t so it bans all the light lorry twats squeezing their truck through the bollards. Happy as Larry about that :)

I had no idea the weight limits had been in force even. Since 11 Jan with a fine of £65.
Don't think I have ever driven over it. Probably cycled over it and certainly walked or run over it a few times.
( Would love to live in Waterside Point on the South side but thats just a fantasy ).
