They don’t look like they are out to destroy society. In fact, they state what they are out to do, and it isn’t social destruction. They are explicitly responding to police murders, imperialist wars and fascist massacres. Seems to me, then, that they are against the things that destroy society.

That is interesting. The three arrows symbol is clearly left wing. A quick google on the uses of the 8 pointed star brings up something called the Symbol of Chaos. So maybe it’s that. It’s definitely odd though.

My strong opinions are against those people identifying themselves as Antifa who are carrying out the violence affecting ordinary Portlanders.

The fact that one of the many organisations calling themselves Antifa are opposed to this violence is reassuring, but it doesn’t take away from my main objection which is about the sort of people in that photo I posted.
