...For the past week, Sullivan’s presence in the Capitol and his previous record of anti-Donald Trump activism has been the focus of frenzied attention in the right-wing media, where the baseless conspiracy theory that pro-Trump rioters were led into violence by left-wing anti-fascist agitators lives on. At the same time, left-wing organizers have been keen to stress that they ejected Sullivan from their ranks months ago, accusing him of being either a right-wing infiltrator or a dangerously naive amateur.

Although Sullivan began describing himself as a journalist in the aftermath of the raid, when his footage of the shooting was licensed by major news organizations, including the Washington Post and MSNBC, his raw footage captured him repeatedly expressing what sounded like genuine enthusiasm for the success of the riot. At one point highlighted in the federal complaint, Sullivan could even be heard trying to convince police officers to abandon their posts and let the rioters seize the House chamber...

He was on cnn on the night and I really couldn't work out to make of him. He was saying how the police just stuck their guns out and simply shot Babbitt in the head and was quite sympathetic. Which I could kind of get, if you've just seen someone being shot in the head it is probably pretty traumatic. But he was also going on about how he talked to them rioters and police to let them (the rioters) get to other parts of the building 'safely'. It was all very peculiar, for reasons which those articles seem to make some sense of.

A couple of MPD cops who were prominently stomped at the Capitol (Hodges, the door jamb screamer, and Fanone, the bearded one on the steps outside) have given some interviews. Fanone in particular is not what you would call a guarded interviewee!

Yep, there's more too. Including claiming he had a knife which he later denied and admitting he broke a window. Looks like he'll be going away for a while, too.
 
Sullivan seems like a narcissistic adventurer... dishonest, deluded, fucked up and desperate for "a piece of the action". It's a bit of a stretch to say he's an anteeefa infiltrator. Sounds more like someone who wants to be involved in whatever shit's happening, whether left or right.
 
Certainly did a fine impression of a trump supporter - claims to be armed, carries mobile phone, records himself committing criminal acts, gives interviews describing him committing criminal acts so he can be identified afterwards. Wtf did he think he was doing? He must have realized people would check.

Kyle Brewster, 51, was one of three racist skinheads who attacked a group of Ethiopian immigrants in Southeast Portland on Nov. 13, 1988. While Brewster fought with a 28-year-old airport bus driver named Mulugeta Seraw, his fellow white supremacist Ken Mieske repeatedly swung a baseball bat into Seraw's skull. Mieske kept hitting Seraw while Brewster, then 19, kicked him with steel-toed boots.
