iPhone users: name your top apps!

A couple of apps I've found useful recently as a webdev are FTP On The Go and TouchTerm SSH. Both are surprisingly usable on the small screen, and indispensible if you ever find yourself needing to alter file permissions or debug web apps while away from your office.

9 toolbox - free at the moment. Very good currancy converter & other converters etc.

Ingredient Converter - 59p I think - excellent & invaluable, if like me you have a fair few American cook books with everything in 'cups' etc. Been waiting for something like this for years!

Here I Am - Free (the red logo'd one - there are 2 apps of the same name)
GPS finder that then allows you to send an email with a google maps link embedded.

SBB Timetable - Free. Swiss railways timetable covering & linking literally every last Train, Tram, Bus & Boat in the country.
Most impressive public transport app I've seen so far IMO. Works flawlessly.

FM4 live stream - Free.
FM4 is a great English language Austrian terrestrial radio station (think, what XFM should be) - this is their live stream. Even works very well in the car if 3G's good.

You will be able to do this built in on os 3.0.........

You can pretty much do it with the current software. Bookmark your location and then email it.

Offmaps is a pretty good workaround for the usual Maps roaming charges. It downloads selected city maps and keeps them for when you go abroad.

Motion-X GPS is probably the most fully-functional GPS widget I've come across. You can send your position to twitter and facebook too.

Getting my head around the apps thingy now.
Not paid for any yet and only downloaded about 15 in all.
I can see myself not using many of them to be honest and a couple will be deleted soon.

Train Search - basically pretty much like MyRailLite, but unlike its rip off £5 replacement from National Rail, Train Search is free. Funded by Arriva XC, but no specific tie in to that operator.
