unfortunately, India's farming is terribly inefficient 60% of Indians are employed in Agriculture but provides 15% of GDP. A lot of very small peasant farms without the money of infrastructure to improve. Rural Indias poor people have poor education etc etc.
Some half arsed shock therapy is not going to help
