Hurricane Sandy - "Perfect Storm"

ok, finally!

so, let me give you the back story. I had driven down to the beach, and as soon as I got close, it started to rain harder and get windier. I tried to park where I could see the ocean, but police had blocked off all road access. As I turned around, so that my car was parallel to the beach, but still a couple blocks away and shielded by buildings, my car started getting pelted with rain with bits of sand in it.
I drove away from the beach area and parked by the main road. I soon realized I had picked a really bad spot in this motel parking lot because behind the lot is acres of open marsh land. the wind was just whipping through it and shaking my car very badly. This is why my camera goes all over the place in parts of the clip. I was kind of freaking out. And then I screamed, when a really strong wind came  and put the camera down

Screen shot!

What am I meant to be seeing? I'm looking at some ticket thingy in Times Sq.
You missed Dwyer standing vaguely in front of the S, waving, walking around, and repeatedly removing and replacing his jacket. For several minutes.

Apart from that, nothing much.

so...I moved my car a bit to get out of the path. More camera shakiness.

Oh, by the way, the video doesn't really capture how strong the wind was

At the end of this one, you hear a crackly noise. Just then, I looked to my right dow to the beach, and saw huge chunky flashes of light as a power line went down across the road. Yikes! so, I drove back home.

Good effort. You should have put your wipers on full blast for maximum effect mind.

The best part is the scream at the end of the vid. If there wasn't a follow up, then it would be like the end of so many Hollywood films. What happened when the camera went off? Is that the last we'll see of Miss C?

This could've been used by conspiracy nuts in a few years time as 'found footage'. "Last ever video recorded of Essex County before the government-induced weather (with an EMP blast) took out all electrics in the area. The camerawoman was never seen again."
