Has this one been shared on here before? It’s a Facebook video (sorry), but shows a fairly close view of the fire preceding the explosion. First is just over a minute of the fire, then a preliminary explosion and the flash-bangs which looked like fireworks on the more distant videos, and then the big one goes off and the film ends. It has only 21k views, so maybe hasn’t been shared widely yet.
Edit - the embedded video isn’t playing, so using the code tag here is the url which works ok in my browser:

As if the incident itself isn't appalling enough, I am experiencing a certain degree of dread at the inevitable conspiramongering that we're already starting to see (thank you, Mr Trump, you cockend )There was also a video knocking about showing what looks to be a missile heading towards the silo followed by the big explosion ; most probably a pigeon/fake.

Christ that's harrowing.
As this story develops, this Irish Times piece from last week remains relevant:
There are some people on the pitch, they think it's all over. It is now.You didn't post a link.
Christ that's harrowing.
Yeah grim, early on you can see the fire engines just to the left of the fire that must have been the responding to the initial incident.

The Beirut Explosion - Is It A Bird? Is It A Plane? Is It A Faked Video Of A Missile? - bellingcat
Translations:English (UK)Русский (Россия)In the days after every catastrophe, it is inevitable that rumours and misinformation will be passed around on social networks and by word of mouth. This appears to be a universal human behaviour. The disaster in Beirut is no different. In the three days...www.bellingcat.com
Fairuz, released this song about Beirut, her hometown, in 1984 at the height of the Lebanese civil war. It seems as appropriate now as it did then.
