How will the night tube affect Brixton?

From September 2015 onwards, the Victoria line will be open through the night at weekends, running six tubes an hour.

How might that affect Brixton? It seems it's already carnage on the streets at the weekend - is it about to get a lot worse? Or will things stay pretty much the same?

I am really looking forward to the Victoria line running all night, I live next to a station and it will be great for me getting home.

It was crazy on Saturday night. The Come Together festival finished at 11 but the party seemed to carry on with stereos, guitars and bongos until the very wee hours.

Best not to take chances and create a volunteer group that monitors the tube exit, and turns back anyone not from Brixton who arrives after 8 pm. We can't be having outsiders coming here day and night and having fun.

Kinda annoyed that the overground won't run. It's bad enough getting back 'late'-ish, after 10:30, never mind after that. But I live in South London, so no-one in TFL gives a shit about what I think.

What does the travelling public want?

I haven't heard them all screaming out for an automated, driverless tube service, with all the mass redundancies that would accompany such a move. Perhaps you're all for it though. I'm not.
