Johnny Vodka
The Abominable Scotsman
And where abouts roughly?
I stay near Ayr. (Actually you can tell that from my profile... lol.)

Just outside Dundee. It's alright. I'm a class above the west-coast minks who post here
I was brought up in Argyll, but I've lived in Holland since the middle 70's.
Bit of a landscape difference there, no??
Don't care what anyone else thinks but good to see you back
.. or Anchorage.. lolllll
Glasgows fashionable (ok, maybe not so fashionable as the West End, but better than fcuking East Kilbride!) South Side.
A Soosider eh?!
indeed - often seen with a mochafrappachino-lite and a fey demeanor!
as you've moved down to be with us, if you've got kids/grandkids you might like the christmas stuff on at Pollok House - its pretty good, and cheap!
I'll have you know i've never lived north of the river!!!!
I've not but 'er indoors has kids, so might well be worth a look, cheers.
Only problem with where I am is the near absolute lack of pubs. Place I used to drink, The Cavendish, has closed, now burnt, down. And my local Pollok Inn, is as welcoming as the prospect of a night of fisting and rimming with Leon Brittan and Nigel Lawson.
how about the Granary at Shawlands - bit of a trek, but your feet don't stick to the floor and the beer is ok... or the clockwork (i think) off cathcart road (an even longer trek), its a micro brewery with some very good examples...
yeah, you're right, 'derth' is putting it charitably...
Pollok however.....
you could go for the 'silver lining' approach, and think 'if i walk all the way to the clockwork i'll appreciate my pints more, and when i walk home i'll have walked them off'...
ok, awful lot of cloud, not a lot of silver lining!
