Posted in here as I reckon it'll get more responses than in the reading etc forum
About a decade ago I read a book on working class/peasent revolts and uprisings in England. I recall enjoying the book and fancy reading it again. Problem is, I'm fucked if I can remember either the name of the book or who the author was!
I'm pretty sure it covered around a 150 year period, starting around the beginning of the 18th century, ending around 1850ish. I don't recollect it covering any Welsh/Scottish/Irish events. I seem to recollect it was published by a pretty mainstream/large publisher.
not much to go on, I know
