Hedgeparties and rainstorms don't mix...

I know I'm stating the obvious here - but if it's shitting it down with rain this Saturday there will be little point turning up to the meeting venue.

I have all the gear on stand-by except for the generator which I will collect on Sat. afternoon if the weather's good, but if it ain't, well, don't expect too much activity - the prospect of firing up a 6kva gennie and planting the earthing rod during a thunderstorm does not appeal.

So it will be a last minute yes/no thing, by the looks of things, but you'll know by midday Saturday if it's off.

Until then assume it's on, everyone else is - and you wouldn't want to miss out now would ya?!

Anyone know the likely weather conditions in South London over Sat/Sun?

26 degrees and sunny. :)

This stormy sultry weather should only last till Thursday, so sez the BBC.

Ya big girls blouse! Get on with it! ;)

Not gunna be able to make it as we've got a mash up wedding to attend to in SUNNY Devon :)

Do the bizz pk - cos we love it more than those wankers ever will ;)

We're gonna have storms soon, very soon, hopefully it's all going to be blown over by Sat night.

Naah, feck it, it'll be fine.

See? confidence!

And I don't listen to weather forcasters.

:D

Party! Bring it on!

A quick shower we can deal with - gazebo over the main equipment innit - but heavy forecasts will mean me staying in with a few peeps and doing all the booze and stuff ourselves.

It don't look too bad - have to check nearer Friday I guess...

The BBC forecast said hot at 26 degrees with a risk of the odd shower. Fingers crossed the shower doesnt stop over the hedge. :)

it changed at about 19:00 to say something different. I'm hoping it's going to change again.

Having said that the thunder was cool on the M40 back from Oxford today not that I would have been out dancing in the rain cause it had a kinda aggressive feel to its fall.

Which junction were you on ? The Lightning in Wycombe was damn good and it looked like it was over near the motorway as well ( between junctions 4 and 5 )

Who's coming to the Hedge then, assuming weather is fine?

Quick head count???
