This shows the god Cerunnos sitting in a Buddha pose, with his limbs tied into a Celtic knot. It is from the early Christian monastic site of Clonmacnoise. There are many examples of paganism and mythology which were preserved by Irish monks. Also saw a cow on a cross on a grave. Brigid is associated with cows, and Irish babies were baptised with milk for a long time.
