Only been going for last 5 years so don’t know about gav history but I not seen or read interview where he slags the team off I stand corrected

We were 22nd when Barnes came in - five points from eight games.
I can’t imagine these interviews are the first time the players have heard these messages.
I get the impression that Barnes is now doing it in public to try and force the Board to back him by allowing him to replace the players he doesn’t want in his squad anymore.

If the manager takes all the blame he must be clueless, so why doesn't he resign? If the manager criticises anyone else, he's passing the buck or throwing them under a bus. If the manager plays a dead bat and says nothing of interest, he's run out of ideas. I'm not sure what else people expect him to say under the circumstances. These interviews are the least of our problems and I can't be bothered to listen anymore. The only effective statement right now is to coax some results out of the available players.
