Growing an Anarchist Movement

high tech cyberpunk anarchism

The borg?

lolololol. No seriously I need to sort myself out and work out what I am going to do. I cant sit on the fence forever. I need to make a commitment to something and start doing something active, concrete, sustained.

I think you missed the part where I said it is irrelevant what your politics are - get out into the community (kommune), find out together what is needed, and make a difference. Or is the idea of working with other people too filthy for you?

I don't quite get what this discussion is all about.....A lib dem trying to bring down the system with help from cyberspace without upsetting the spouse? Is this what the revolution has come to??

What campaigns, strikes etc exist locally to you right now that you feel strongly about? Going along and getting involved is the best way to meet possible like minded (and not so like minded, it has to be said) people

Im still trying to work out how to determine my own political biased..... i have views and such like but i dont know what parties my views lean towards

can urban help determine my political bias too?

i prefer high tech cyberpunk anarchism where we take over the world using high technology not living in filthy communes.
The communes will be very clean. And if your comrades want, you don't even have to call it a commune. You can call it Bertrand. Or Darren.

You do seem a little foggy on the basic concepts, mind. Community autonomy doesn't anywhere imply everyone sleeping round an open fire in a big yurt. (Although, each to their own).

Good thread.

I hope we get more of these.

"I'm increasingly finding my support for the dictatorship of the proletariat is raising eyebrows at the golf club. What should I do?"

Me too! Wanna start a true anarchist commune round a camp fire somewhere in the wilds of Leicestershire, invisibleplanet? With Chomsky as compulsary bed-time literature??

Sure, littleseb, but first we have to crash the next Lib Dem conference and rescue Shevek - it'll be wild! Who's in?
