Greece
- Since the "velvet divorce" with Slovakia the Czech Republic have not beaten Greece, failing to score in four meetings (L2, D2). The most recent encounter was a 1-0 win for the Greeks in a friendly match played in Cyprus in February 2008.
- Greece's last defeat to Czechoslovakia was a 2-1 friendly loss in 1982.
- Greece have lost only once in 22 matches under coach Fernando Santos (W11, D10, L1). Their only defeat came against Romania in a friendly last November.
