How the fuck can someone that calls themselves Jewish support the actions of this state, unconditionally. Judaism is not and never will anything to do with killing everyone in a place or building a wall on people's land, and these stupid murdering fucks have told themselves it is. I can't tell you how angry I am with people who don't even live in Israel but are quite happily cheering on the actions of this state, its just disgusting and people are dying over there and they are not giving a shit about it, buy are actually laughing about it.

What would the state of Israel have to do for these cunts to criticise it????

Indeed, though the emboldened part is where the true danger is; history has repeatedly demonstrated that a hard right political element in a state that is militarily dominant is usually very, very stupid - they have no opportunity to understand what power actually is, how it may be applied to create benefit for themselves or their state, and how to respond without hitting everything with a big stick. They usually manage to talk themselves into a situation that causes the ruin, or at best the defeat, of their nation.
Hubris
Whom the Gods will destroy they first make mad

Because it is extremely short term
The current power balance cannot last for ever
There will be a massive death toll should that current disunity re-coalesce
How can it re-coalesce? It is a physical impossibility unless Syria, Egypt, and Jordan all open their borders, which they wont. And even if they did, without astounding military backing, what could they do? Protest outside the wall?

you are thinking in terms of nation states
Pretty much all of those round Israel are as unstable as fuck are we are on for a full sunni-shia conflict just up the street
Isis did not get this organised, nor so tooled up, without wedge
Same for Hizbollah

Looks like Israel went hell for leather last night. TV & radio hit, Gaza City power. Over 150 strikes.

"@masoud_ahmed

Me too, although I don't think I ever knowingly bought anything from Israel before anyway. What's a lot harder is avoiding companies that invest there.
BDS Movement- said:
Trying to boycott the products of every single company that participates in Israeli apartheid is a daunting task that has a slim change of having a concrete impact.

It makes more sense to focus on optimal targets that are being targeted as part of national or international campaigns. Consumer boycotts are most effective when part of a broader campaign against a particular product or aiming to pressure a retailer to stop selling a particular Israeli product.

& campaigning to get stores that stock Israeli goods to stop doing so is their other key goal for individuals.

I think you were dead on with the comparison with North Korea in terms of reality defying rhetoric
Pyongyang demands 'strict regulation' of protests in South Korea against nuclear weapons tests, citing the Korean War and the Yankee menace

Surprise, surprise.....When the Israel lobby says jump, the US congress asks how high sir?
The Obama administration’s $225 million request to aid Israel during its war with Hamas may not be enough, warned Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid on Monday afternoon.

Reid predicted that Hagel’s aid request for Israel may turn out to be “only temporary” given the steep costs associated with operating Iron Dome, which picks off Hamas’s rockets at a price-tag of $62,000 per missile, according to Reid.

“We should not give the Israeli people the minimum amount of aid and then cross our fingers and hope it all works out in the future,” Reid said. “We can do better and need to go further in protecting Israel.”

What a slap in the face that is when you consider the number of Americans living in Third World conditions.
