Gaza under attack yet again.

Your book seems to include the population increasing that ain't it either.

Infant mortality is rising in Gaza however, in defiance of a worldwide trend in the opposite direction. Why could that be?

In Gaza, the socioeconomic situation has deteriorated dramatically in the past decade following the imposition of the blockade and subsequent conflicts. The blockade has affected the health sector in Gaza, as hospitals continue to lack adequate physical infrastructure, drugs, supplies, and infection prevention material. It is reasonable to assume that the unstable power supply, the deteriorating functionality of medical equipment, the periodic shortages of essential drugs and medical consumables have had an impact on the quality of medical care with a consequent impact on infant mortality.

Infant Mortality In Gaza No Longer In Decline “Alarming Trend” According to New Report by UNRWA | UNRWA

Well shit, looks like denying an entire population access to medical supplies and basic infrastructure is bad for said population. I'm stunned, stunned and amazed to discover this. Not least because that would fall under this heading within the ICC's definition of genocide:

(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part.

...
and yet you've told us that it's the Palestinians who are genocidal. I just don't know who to believe on this one tbh, the UN or some manifestly ill-informed internet gobshite who is unafraid to share memes from Trumpist US propaganda sites.

Yup it's all kicked off again... So the Israelis technically break the ceasefire in a cross border incursion to install monitoring/listening equipment and one of their officers gets killed ,another wounded. Seven Hamas fighters died. Now the Israelis are bombing the fuck out of stuff:

One of the many problems with the powers that Be in Israel....i can the rhetoric now..."we are not going to stand by and...."

Israeli forces have killed three Palestinians, including two teenagers, and shot 46 others at gatherings on the Gaza frontier marking the anniversary of the demonstration movement, the territory’s ministry of health said.

In an attempt to limit the huge numbers of casualties at previous rallies, Egypt has sought to broker an agreement between Israel and Hamas, which governs Gaza and has backed the protests.

Hamas officials said the group had agreed to prevent protesters approaching the fence and men in orange vests at the main encampments had worked to keep people back. In exchange, Israel would not fire on people who remained far from the frontier. Israel did not confirm that a deal had been reached but less live fire was heard than at previous rallies.

:hmm:

(from here)

From the Guardian.

'Palestinian militants have fired more than 450 rockets into Israeli territory over the weekend. Many were intercepted but one Israeli man was killed.'

Presumably you feel that this has had no effect on Israel's actions?
what's the acceptable exchange rate in Palestinian and Israeli lives these days? It's been about 100-1, iirr
